Desperate Moms

I am so excited about this news! Starting tomorrow, February 21st at 10 a.m., local moms are invited to join us for a brand-new book study and Desperate Moms group.

Have you ever woken up in the morning and said to yourself, “I just can’t do this today”? If that sounds familiar, then this discussion is for YOU. We’ll be meeting to talk about how we can support each other as moms – to give each other friendly advice about raising kids right, to talk about our hopes and dreams of parenting our kids, to talk about the gap between our dreams for parenting and the tools we actually have, and any other “grown up conversation” you need to have to keep your sanity amidst the diaper changing, nose wiping, and house keeping. I hope that you will join us! I look forward to meeting you and sharing a cup of coffee while we take a look at this great new  book by Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson.

I guess it’s telling that a bunch of desperate moms had a hard time finding a time all of us could sit down together over a cup of coffee and a good book. Between the hustle and bustle of getting kids out the door to school, managing after school activities, and making sure the little ones take their naps, we have decided that a small group of us can successfully meet about one Thursday morning a month to start this new moms group we all need so much. So tomorrow morning marks a fresh beginning of new friendships and encouraging conversation, and we’ll meet again on March 21st at the same time.

If you plan on joining us, let me know! I’ll make a little extra coffee just for you. 🙂

God’s rich blessings on you and your beautiful family today,

Sarah
